More exciting LFFF updates

We are super excited to share some more updates with you today.

Firstly we are honoured to announce that Marva Nabili, director of our Feminist Classic The Sealed Soil, will now be attending the screening, flying in from LA especially for the event! She will be joining us on stage in NFT1 for a Q&A after the film, chaired by Elhum Shakerifar. This is a rare opportunity to watch the first film by an independent Iranian woman director on Nabili’s own 16 mm print, and to put your questions to the director afterwards. Tickets on sale from the BFI.

We have also added two new events to the programme, a talk on Feminism and Veganism at the Rio (Friday 18 August, 8.30pm) and our Closing Night Party at High Water cocktail bar (Sunday 20 August, from 6pm).

Lastly we have just released the festival trailer, so tune in to get a sneak peak at what’s in store at LFFF 2017!
